Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups fresh broccoli florets
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Cooked rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes (for serving)
Instructions
Prepare the chicken: Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Mix the sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and pour over the chicken.
Slow cook the chicken: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Add broccoli and cheese: About 30 minutes before you’re ready to eat, add the broccoli and cheddar. Stir to combine.
Shred the chicken: Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker.
Serve and enjoy: Serve the creamy mixture over your choice of rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
Use fresh broccoli for best texture and avoid overcooking the chicken to prevent dryness.
