100-Calorie One Minute Protein Brownie

A quick, satisfying microwave brownie that curbs chocolate cravings while packing in protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce or mashed banana
  • 1 tablespoon water or almond milk

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, sweetener (if using), and salt.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Add the applesauce (or mashed banana) and water (or almond milk) to the dry mixture.
  3. Stir until combined: Stir until all ingredients are well mixed and you have a smooth batter with no lumps.
  4. Transfer to a mug: Pour the batter into a microwave-safe mug, ensuring it’s not more than halfway full to allow for rising during cooking.
  5. Microwave: Microwave on high for 1 minute. Check for doneness; if the center is still wet, continue to microwave in 10-second intervals until set.
  6. Cool and serve: Let it cool slightly before enjoying. This is best served warm and can be topped with a dollop of yogurt or a drizzle of nut butter.

Notes

You can use your favorite protein powder; the flavor may slightly change. Adjust the sweetness according to your personal preference.
