Keto Big Mac Smash Burgers

Delicious low-carb smash burgers that capture all the flavors of a Big Mac without the bun.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cheddar cheese slices (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
  • Lettuce leaves (as a burger wrap)
  • Tomato slices (optional)
  • Onion slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Shape the beef: Form the ground beef into small balls, about 2-3 ounces each.
  3. Smash the burgers: Place the beef balls onto the hot skillet and smash them down. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Season and flip: Season the cooked side with salt and pepper, then carefully flip the burgers.
  5. Make the sauce: Mix the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, and dill pickle relish in a small bowl.
  6. Add cheese: Place a slice of cheese on top of each burger and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Assemble your burgers: Serve the burgers on lettuce leaves with the special sauce and toppings.

Notes

Customize your burgers with your favorite toppings. Don’t over-pack the ground beef for a tender texture.
