Ingredients
2 ripe bananas
1/3 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Combine melted butter with mashed bananas until well mixed.
Add baking soda and salt; stir to combine.
Mix in brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until well incorporated.
Incorporate flour gradually, mixing until just combined.
Prepare the cinnamon-sugar mixture in a separate bowl.
Layer half the batter in the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then pour remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar.
Swirl the batter gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness.
Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread before slicing.
