Cauldron Cookies

Delightfully spooky Cauldron Cookies, perfect for Halloween, combining rich chocolate flavor with creative decoration.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup green buttercream frosting
  • Chocolate candy or candies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Grease a muffin tin or use silicone cupcake molds.
  4. Spoon the cookie batter into the molds, filling them about two-thirds full.
  5. Place the filled molds in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Create a small well in the center of each cookie cup using a spoon.
  8. Fill each well with green buttercream frosting.
  9. Add chocolate candies on top of the frosting.
  10. Present your cauldron cookies and enjoy!

Notes

Using a high-quality chocolate cake mix enhances flavor. Substitute vegetable oil with canola or melted coconut oil if preferred.
